D Is for Dawn
Aurora mixing pigments,
Titanium, cobalt, ivory black.
Coattails of the night,
Pulling possibility
Like a banner.
Revelation: Tree come into Leaf,
Mountain against Sky.
It is forgiveness and redemption,
Scattered second chances
Like the stars.
Love the image of the night's coat tails! And the last stanza id magical!
ReplyDeleteD is for delight - but you've lost me on the question of outside/inside, perhaps...
ReplyDeletescattered second chances like stars...they are what makes life special...would hate to think of a life where there was no forgiveness and i had to get it right the first time, every time...cool imagery in this...
ReplyDeleteMy freezing cold hands are still waiting for D
ReplyDeleteI did not know the D, but the rest is grace itself. Love it.
ReplyDeleteSorry to be obscure. D is for Dawn...new day. It's a perfect time to let the inside reflect the out.
DeleteThis is a lovely collection of ideas and images. I especially liked your description of outdoors in stanza 3.
